I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and I am currently based in Austin, Texas. I started college at the University of Puerto Rico and then transferred to Iowa State University prior to obtaining my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. I developed an interest in ultrasound, surgery, neurology, and behavior while in veterinary school. I am passionate about my profession, and I consider myself lucky to be able to practice veterinary medicine. I provide at-home care to anxious dogs as well as support fellow veterinary professionals with hospital relief work.
